About ProDermaCol Collagen

ProDermaCol® is manufactured using the highest grade of collagen available from Germany. Our proprietary, OptiCol35® is a Bovine Collagen that has been hydrolysed. Our Hydrolysed Collagen Peptides ensure that ProDermaCol® provides optimum dermal support post in-clinic dermal treatments.

Contains premium Hydrolysed Collagen Peptides blended with Vitamin C, Vitamin A (as retinol equivalents), Vitamin E, Biotin, Hyaluronic Acid, Coenzyme Q10, and Zinc.

Bovine Collagen primarily contains Type I and Type III collagen. Together, these collagen types enhance skin and tissue health, making bovine collagen supplements highly beneficial for overall well-being.

Hydrolysed Collagen Peptides offer vastly improved absorption and bioavailability due to its smaller peptide size as opposed to standard collagen. This makes it easier for the body to digest and absorb, maximising their benefits for overall skin health and tissue repair.

Collagen Effect on Skin Rejuvenation

About the collagen

Collagen is a form of protein. It is not a complete form of Protein as it lacks 3 amino acids including tryptophan, methionine, and cysteine. However, collagen serves a fundamental role as a supplement as outlined in the purpose of ProDermaCol.

In a study, it describes, "Collagen is one of the major proteins of the skin and it is particularly important for its strength and resilience. Skin aging is a natural process that is characterized by the decrease and fragmentation of collagen in the dermis. Oral supplementation with collagen peptides has been clinically shown to have a positive effect on the
skin condition…”

If you’re looking for a complete protein substitute, there are more suitable options such as Whey Protein Isolate or a plant based protein such as Pea or Brown Rice protein. However, these are not collagens and serve a different supplementation purpose.
